The speakers will be distinguished scholars from the University of Santo Tomas, namely
Lecture 1: Asst. Prof. Louie Benedict R. Ignacio, Ph.D., the Secretary of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, who, as a respected sociologist and political scientist, will be delivering a lecture entitled “Constructing Unity at Home: Family Communication and Political Difference.”
Lecture 2: Asst. Prof. Anton Heinrich L. Rennesland, the Director of the Research Center for Culture, Arts, and Humanities, who will be delivering a lecture entitled “Waiting after the End: Rereading Adorno’s ‘Versuch, das Endspiel zu verstehen’ through Beckett’s ‘Waiting for Godot’.”
Lecture 3: Asst. Prof. Allen Dave B. Arboleda, Ed.D., the Chair of the Department of Literature, who will be delivering a lecture entitled “Literature in the Classroom: Teaching and Learning Practices in a Philippine Catholic Higher Education Context.” at Aula Gedung B (B305), FIB Unpad, Jatinangor.
Lecture 4: Prof. Joselito D. Delos Reyes, Ph.D., Chair of the Department of Creative Writing, who will be delivering a lecture entitled “Tanaga: Filipino Poetic Form.” at Aula Gedung B (B305), FIB Unpad, Jatinangor.
