The Arabic Literature Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran hosted a visit from STIT Insan Kamil for the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Monday, April 20. This event marks a step toward strengthening synergy between higher education institutions, particularly in the development of the Three Pillars of Higher Education.
Based on the agreed-upon draft of the CA, the scope of cooperation covers the three main pillars of the Three Pillars of Higher Education: education, research, and community service. Both institutions are committed to mutually supporting the implementation of academic programs that can improve the learning quality and scholarly contributions.
The concrete program planned is collaboration in the field of research. One of the implementations is collaborative journals, written by both students and faculty members from both institutions. This scheme enables cross-campus collaboration, such as journal publications in Unpad or STIT Insan Kamil. However, the technical details of implementing this cooperation program are still under further discussion.
Both parties stated that the specific timing and implementation mechanisms are currently being discussed to ensure optimal execution. Until now, the short-term targets or outcomes of this collaboration have not been specifically defined. They are still refining the implementation plan so that the program will have a clear direction and provide maximum benefits.
The visit and signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Indonesian Arabic Literature Study Program of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) and STIT Insan Kamil are highly relevant to SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through collaboration under the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi), particularly plans to conduct joint research and collaborative journal publications involving faculty members and students. Both institutions seek to improve the quality and accessibility of inclusive and high-quality higher education. This cross-campus synergy also demonstrates a strong commitment to building inclusive partnerships, strengthening academic capacity, sharing scholarly resources, and creating positive contributions with a broad impact on society.
