The Role of Labor Unions in Employment at FIB Unpad

At the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Universitas Padjadjaran, trade unions play a crucial role in fair employment practices. With six existing unions, they ensure employees’ rights are respected and address issues related to working conditions and employment policies.

In addition, the unions at FIB also serve as security guards/sentinels, keeping campus facilities safe and ensuring the safety of all individuals on campus. They play a role in enforcing security rules and creating a safe working environment.

The union’s existence supports good labor practices and enhances employee welfare at FIB, in line with the faculty’s commitment to providing a safe and responsive workplace.
