Students of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Universitas Padjadjaran come from all over Indonesia. Every year, the number of students in the faculty significantly increases. The students come from four selection routes, namely Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN – National Selection for State University Admissions), Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN – Joint Selection for State University Admissions), Seleksi Masuk Universitas Padjadjaran (SMUP – Universitas Padjadjaran Admission Selection), and Achievement Route. Graduate students are admitted only through the Universitas Padjadjaran Admission Selection (SMUP).

Since established in 1958, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences has produced thousands of graduates with the average GPA of > 3.20. The number of those graduating with honors are also steadily increasing. According to our tracer study, the alumni of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences do not face difficulties in getting employed. The average wait time to be employed in their fields of interest and expertise is approximately one year. The alumni are currently employed in government institutions (including state-owned corporations) and private corporations, such as banking, media companies (print and electronic), airlines, tour and travel companies, foreign embassies, and national and international NGOs. Some have also succeeded in becoming entrepreneurs in various business and trading sectors.
