Enhancing Entrepreneurial Spirit to Create Opportunities in the Future, FIB Unpad Holds Entrepreneurship Course
BANDUNG – The Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Padjadjaran University (FIB Unpad) remains committed to preparing its graduates not only to become job seekers, but also job creators. One of its strategic efforts is through the Entrepreneurship course (Code: UNH10601), which is specifically designed to instil and develop an entrepreneurial spirit in students.
According to data from the Academic and Student Affairs Office of FIB Unpad, this elective course with a weight of 2 SKS has become one of the important pillars in the Faculty of Cultural Sciences curriculum. This course is specifically designed to achieve the Program Learning Outcomes (CPL-02), which is to develop students who are able to demonstrate responsibility, integrity, collaboration, and professionalism in community life and the world of work, including the business world.
What distinguishes this course is its emphasis on project-based learning. A total of 30% of the students’ final grades come from real projects, namely creating a Student Creativity Program (PKM) Proposal in the field of entrepreneurship. This method not only trains theoretical abilities but also hones practical skills, creativity, and team collaboration skills.
This course specifically encourages students to identify unique business opportunities that align with their academic competencies at FIB, namely in the fields of linguistics, literature, and culture. This responds to the challenges of the modern era, where cultural and linguistic content holds significant economic value in the digital age.
Equipped with material on branding, sustainable marketing strategies, and technopreneurship, students are prepared to become entrepreneurs who are not only creative but also adaptable to technology.
It is hoped that FIB Unpad graduates will not only have a deep understanding of cultural studies but also be able to transform that knowledge into promising business opportunities, thereby actively contributing to the advancement of Indonesia’s creative economy.
