Faculty of Cultural Sciences Manages Inorganic Waste with Three-Bin System
The Faculty of Cultural Sciences is taking concrete steps to improve waste management on campus, particularly for inorganic waste such as paper, bottles, packaging, and other non-biodegradable materials. Recognizing the importance of proper waste separation, the faculty has begun to implement a more systematic approach.
Currently, the faculty has started providing three types of waste bins: organic, inorganic, and B3 (hazardous and toxic materials). This system makes it easier for students, lecturers, staff, and third-party services to separate waste correctly from the source, ensuring that recyclable materials can be processed effectively while reducing the environmental impact of non-recyclable waste.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences aims to create a cleaner and more sustainable campus environment while also fostering greater awareness of responsible waste disposal. The three-bin system serves as a daily reminder that managing inorganic waste is a shared responsibility of the entire academic community.
