AGT Livery: FIB Student Startup for Indonesia
Jatinangor, West Java – FIB Unpad is very concerned about the growth and development of its community, in order to realize a sustainable campus. This affects the quality of FIB Unpad students, where many FIB Unpad students have non-academic achievements, one of which is achievement in the field of entrepreneurship.
Iqbal Agustiana (often called Iqbal) is one of the 2021 Indonesian Study Program students who is consistent in running his AGT Livery startup. AGT Livery was born from Iqbal’s love for bus transportation and his hobby of editing graphics (livery) on mobile phones for the purposes of the game “Bus Simulator”.
Thanks to prayer, effort, and consistency, in 2019, one of the bus transportation companies in Tegal was interested in collaborating with Iqbal regarding designing a livery for buses. From there, AGT Livery was born as a startup that provides bus graphic design services for various bus transportation companies throughout Indonesia.
Establishing and maintaining AGT Livery is not an easy thing to do. Iqbal experienced various problems, such as design orders that were not available every month, hardware constraints, limited storage space, copyright infringement, and customers who had no news after entering into cooperation.
However, despite all these problems, AGT Livery has managed to maintain consumer confidence in the use of bus graphic design services. “There are several companies, and one of them is a company from Makassar, South Sulawesi that always orders its bus livery design at AGT. It’s never missed. For me, it is an achievement, because I can maintain clients for a long time. In addition, another achievement, AGT Livery services have been used by a company that I really admire, namely the Enchantment Bus, owned by one of the Automotive Youtubers Mas Wahid,” explained Iqbal.
Thanks to this, Iqbal was honored at the FIB Awards 2023 as “Best Young Entrepreneur”. He is very proud and touched because FIB Unpad pays attention to the growth and development of its civitas.
“Keep going, no matter how little the process is. You will see that a small process can make a big change in your life. Study what you want, until you get it all,” said Iqbal.
