Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Human Rights Officers at FIB Unpad
The Faculty of Cultural Studies at Universitas Padjadjaran (FIB Unpad) actively promotes a campus culture grounded in diversity, equity, inclusion, and human rights. To achieve this, the faculty maintains dedicated officers and committees tasked with implementing programs, organizing training sessions, and fostering values such as honesty, respect, fairness, and social responsibility among students and staff.
A prominent example is Dr. Ari Jogaiswara Adipurwawidjana, M.Hum., the Head of the Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force (Satgas PPKS), who provided a detailed presentation on these values during the Opera Budaya 2025 new student orientation. Through his session, incoming students were introduced to the principles of inclusivity, ethical behavior, and human rights, highlighting the faculty’s commitment to preparing a socially aware and responsible academic community.
Beyond orientation programs, the officers and committees regularly coordinate workshops, awareness campaigns, and policy implementations that address issues of discrimination, equity, and human rights. By doing so, FIB Unpad ensures that these values are not only theoretical concepts but also practical guides for behavior, interactions, and decision-making within the campus environment. Through the sustained efforts of these officers and committees, the faculty demonstrates its dedication to building an academic community that is equitable, respectful, and inclusive, where all students and staff have the knowledge, support, and resources to thrive both academically and socially
