Parking Area and Building Maintenance at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Unpad

Parking Area:

Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Universitas Padjadjaran provides a 450 m² parking area to support parking needs for students, lecturers, and staff. This parking area is designed to facilitate user accessibility and convenience in entering the faculty environment. With adequate capacity, this parking area plays an important role in ensuring ease of mobility on campus, especially in supporting the smooth running of academic and administrative activities.

Building Maintenance:

By 2023, the main focus of building maintenance at FIB will be on periodic building operations and maintenance. The purpose of this maintenance is to maintain the function and safety of the facilities and create a comfortable and safe learning and working environment for the faculty’s entire academic community.

Maintenance Activities:

Periodic Operation: Maintenance activities involve regular checking and operation of building systems such as electrical, water, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems. This is important to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and do not interfere with daily activities.

Repair and Renovation: The maintenance team also carries out necessary repairs and renovations to keep the building in optimal condition. This includes minor repairs such as repainting and infrastructure improvements, as well as larger renovations if needed.

Security and Safety: An important aspect of maintenance is ensuring that the facility meets security and safety standards. This includes checking security systems such as fire alarms and fire extinguishing systems, as well as maintaining evacuation routes and other safety equipment.

Environmental Comfort: Maintenance aims to create a comfortable environment for learning and working. This includes maintaining the cleanliness of the building, managing the room temperature, and arranging public facilities.
