Unpad Holds Free Job Fair, Opening Big Opportunities for Public and Students to Seize the Future
Bandung, West Java – Landing a job is everyone’s dream, especially students. In achieving this, universities generally organize skills training or job fairs as a way for students and the public to access information in the work fields of their interests.
One of them is the Job Fair with the theme ‘Embrace Adversity Build Your Winning Career’. This Job Fair agenda is organized by Universitas Padjadjaran and is open to the public. In this case, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Unpad and all other faculties in Unpad participated in supporting this program.
The Job Fair is held on June 14-15, 2023 from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB at Graha Sanusi Hardjadinata Unpad, Jalan Dipati Ukur, Bandung City. This event is free and open to the public.
Head of Unpad Career Development Center, Rosaria Mita Amalia, Lecturer in English Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, confirms that at this event, 34 companies will provide job vacancies.
“There are 34 companies that have committed to participate in various industries, such as banking, health, mining, finance, retail, and others. This activity is open to the public and free of charge,” she explains.
In addition to providing information related to employment, Unpad Job Fair also provides information related to internships, scholarships, company presentations, study opportunities, career talks, potential mapping, and consultations with lecturers of Unpad’s Faculty of Psychology.
To support all the facilities provided, participants are expected to bring their latest CV and register via bit.ly/UnpadJobFair2023 or they can also register directly.
“There will be many events with a number of attractive door prizes for visitors,” says Rosiana.
Activities such as this Job Fair are hoped to become a field for students and the public in scavenging information and knowledge related to the field of work, scholarships, or career development by asking directly to the parties concerned. Thus, both prospective scholars and the wider community are able to prepare the things needed to apply for jobs or to continue their studies, as well as get an overview of relevant institutions.
