BANDUNG – The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (FIB Unpad), has achieved an outstanding milestone in promoting educational equity and academic success. A total of 138 students from the 2021 cohort who received the Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) scholarship successfully graduated on time at the end of the 2024/2025 academic year. This accomplishment reflects not only the hard work of individual students but also the effectiveness of the faculty’s support systems.

Based on academic administrative records, out of 427 students from the 2021 cohort who completed their studies, KIP-K recipients accounted for 32.3% of the total graduates. This significant proportion highlights the crucial role of the government’s scholarship program in producing university graduates.

The 138 KIP-K graduates came through three different admission pathways. 72 students (52.2%) were admitted through the SNBT (National Selection Based on Test), 49 students (35.5%) through UTBK (Computer-Based Written Exam), and 17 students (12.3%) through SMUP (Universitas Padjadjaran Independent Selection). This composition reflects the diverse distribution of KIP-K quotas across different admission routes.

This achievement spans across all study programs within FIB Unpad. Indonesian Literature recorded the highest number of KIP-K graduates (40 students), followed by Arabic Literature (26 students), and Sundanese Literature (24 students).
The full breakdown is as follows:
• Indonesian Literature: 40 students
• Arabic Literature: 26 students
• Sundanese Literature: 24 students
• History: 11 students
• Japanese Literature: 11 students
• English Literature: 8 students
• Russian Literature: 8 students
• German Literature: 6 students
• French Literature: 4 students

This success cannot be separated from FIB Unpad’s commitment to providing inclusive academic support, including academic counseling, thesis writing workshops, and mentoring programs designed to help all students—especially KIP-K recipients—overcome challenges during their studies.

It is expected that this achievement will inspire the next generation of students to make the most of available support in order to achieve academic success and graduate on time. FIB Unpad remains committed to continuously improving the quality of its services and academic support to produce excellent graduates with strong character.
